Does Teeter have an NPI number or provide CPT codes?

CPT codes are a uniform and widely used code set that describes medical procedures and services performed by physicians and other qualified healthcare professionals. They are the system used by major federal programs (Medicare and Medicaid) and private insurance companies throughout the United States. As Teeter is not a physician or qualified healthcare entity, we are unable to provide CPT codes.

NPI is a National Provider Identifier number. The NPI is a unique identification number for covered health care providers or registered durable medical equipment (DME) providers. As Teeter is not a DME provider, we do not have an NPI number. (To become a DME requires going through a detailed accreditation process, multiple government registration processes, and adherence to a complex code of federal regulations. Teeter is a retail equipment supplier and wholesaler to DMEs).
