Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ThunderBell program will make you sweat. The Teeter ThunderBell Pro 10 Complete Training Program is a total body training system that will develop strength and flexibility throughout your entire core. I find it to be a very challenging but not overwhelming program that gives me the benefits of cardio and weight lifting workout in about 25 minutes and the best part is I didn't have to join a gym. The high quality training program has 3 complete workout levels, (beginner, advanced, and warrior) that takes you step by step through all the routines. I'm on beginner now. The ThunderBell itself is a cleverly engineered 10 pound unit, complete with no weight discs to add and remove. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to progressing through the workout levels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Contraption I bought this a couple of weeks ago being a fan of using a single weight and like it more than my other weights (medball, kettlebell, dumb bell, and smart bell). It looks awkward but is easier to hold in various positions than other weights. I also like the moves on the dvds but think most are done too fast. I feel very thoroughly worked out after a short amount of time without aggravating any joints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Teeter needs to bring back the Extreme 15! AWESOME I bought this program when the Extreme 15 version was still available (15 lb Thunderbell). I've looked ALL OVER THE INTERNET and cannot find this version anymore and I really wish Teeter would offer it again! I’ve told so many people about how I gained at least 10 pounds of muscle with this program and all I did was turn it on, follow the DVD’s and never looked back—all in less than an hour! Who couldn’t fit that into their schedule? I own a small business so the “time” excuse is out the door folks! Anyway, for the review. For all of you out there reading this, let me tell you, it is NOT just for those of you who want to LOSE weight. About 6 years ago, I ended up bulging a disc in my back performing another popular DVD exercise routine—I wanted my “beach body” like everyone else. From then on I was afraid to exercise for fear of the debilitating moments of the dreaded pinched vertebrae nerve in my lower back. Fast forward a couple years later, I had lost at least 10 pounds of muscle and felt horrible. My physique was scrawny and I hated the fact that I felt I was doomed never to exercise again and to be able to build muscle mass to bring back my muscle tone and normal body. I was 45 when I started this program and a little over 2 years later, I’m still able to stick with this program and I’ve gained back almost 15 pounds of muscle I’d thought I’d lost forever. I’ve since been diagnosed with 2 lower back degenerative discs but I’m still able to continue this program. The pain is present every day but because this program is low-impact, I’ve been able to combine the ab routines with all levels of this workout which have built up my core to the point where the pain is tolerable without surgery thus far. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT THIS PROGRAM and remain steadfast and a diehard believer that this program is one of the best available. It combines cardio and all-over-body muscle building routines at each level and is never boring. Just follow along and when it is done, you are done and within a very short period of time, you’ll start feeling and looking great! My routine currently consists of the advanced ab routine, followed by any one of the three beginner, advanced, or warrior workouts (I switch it up every month or so). I perform this ONLY 3 TIMES A WEEK WITHOUT ALTERING MY EATING HABITS WHATSOEVER—except for adding 40 grams of protein in shake form with about 5-grams of creatine 5-days per week. After about a year, I gained at least 10 pounds of my muscle mass, mainly in my arms shoulders, legs and butt. I wasn’t in this to bulk up but I feel great and according to my wife—look great too! Oh, and wanted to mention my marriage has gotten MUCH better and more frequent in the intimacy area! One last comment, don’t think if you down a couple of soft drinks a day with sugar-loaded coffee and lots of refined carbs every day, that your results will be similar. If you are true to yourself, are looking for a challenging routine that is low-impact and fun, look no further. BUY THIS ROUTINE AND YOU’LL THANK YOURSELF FOR YEARS TO COME! If it is good enough for our elite Navy Seals, do you really think you could do better?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The complete workout I had the 10 lbs one which was a little too much for some exercises. I chose the system after the PT put me on a upper body strengthening program at a gym following a neck injury. The 6lbs one is the perfect weight. The training videos and the training calendar are amazing. All the exercises from the gym program can be replicated with the exercises from the training videos. Beats going all the way to a gym and hopping from one machine to another, waiting for them to be free. Saving time and money. One can do the workout exercises in 30 minutes for basically the same 45-60 min routine at the gym (this counting waiting time as well). With driving there and back it takes 1/3 of the time to do the equivalent workout. Much easier to fit it in any schedule. Moreover, the training videos will present exercises for a whole body workout. It beats the storage space as well. Not a huge weight machine occupying half of the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these workout tools! I bought both the six and ten pound weights. I an older female, trying to get back in shape. The DVDs that come with these weights are excellent, and I am working on some of the beginner moves. They are challenging, but I like the way the weights fit in my hand better than traditional dumb bells. The price is excellent for the quality of the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clever Design The TeeterBell is solidly constructed, and a very clever design. I decided to give it a try and can’t say enough good things about the program. It's easy-to-follow fitness and the price is not too bad when you consider the cost of kettlebells and dumbbells, as well as the fact that this includes DVD instruction on how to use this properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Design I've been using the TeeterBell for about a month now. I love the design. I can place my hands in many positions and the weight was just right for me. The workouts on the DVD are too fast. I like the exercises but would prefer longer workouts done more slowly.

If I am experiencing sciatica pain is it safe to do this work out?  I have read that weightlifting, dead lifts, squats, etc are something to avoid in my condition.  I am looking for a safe plan to continue my work out regimen.

Asked by: Deej
As with starting any new exercise programs, it is a good idea to get an opinion from a doctor. This is especially true with a condition like Sciatica. If approved by your doctor, the Pro 10 COMPLETE Training Program is flexible enough to challenge someone of any fitness level. You can adjust your speed, range of motion, rhythm, and intensity to workout at your own pace and within your comfort level.

Is there one or two thunderbells. The video shows workout with one in each hand.

Asked by: RenRen
The Pro 10 Complete Training Program features one Thunderbell and three DVD’s with 10+ workouts. The video you saw features content from those DVDs (Intro and Level 1-3 Workouts) – all workouts that are designed to use a single ThunderBell. At the end, it shows a glimpse of the Dual ThunderBell Level 4 Workout (noted in the video as ‘Optional Upgrade’). The additional Thunderbell and Level 4 DVD are sold separately. How long does a typical workout take?

Asked by: Bill1
By adjusting your speed, range of motion, rhythm and intensity, the ThunderBell routines offer a variable workout depending on your fitness level. Also, each DVD is made to be modular, so you can pick and choose how to build your workout depending on your desired length of time. Each level DVD includes a 2 part workout, each built from 2 cycles (5-7 min/ea), plus a dynamic warm-up (5 min) and challenging cool-down (7-8 min). So if you elect to do the warm-up, part 1 (2 cycles), part 2 (2 cycles), and cool-down, you would be working out for roughly 35 minutes. If you challenged yourself with a core routine (2 cycles) on at the end, you’d add approximately 12 minutes. Here’s some more info on the DVDs that come with the ThunderBell: ‘INTRODUCTION: Training & Level 1 Workouts’ includes One-on-One instructions for 26 unique ThunderBell moves, Foundation workout to develop the basics, dynamic warm-up, 2-part level 1 workouts, challenging cool-down, and the bonus Core. ‘ADVANCED: Level 2 Workouts’ includes 2-part Level 2 workouts which involve more complex movements to develop powerful muscle definition and increased endurance, in addition to the dynamic warm-up, challenging cool-down and bonus Core and Core Advanced. ‘WARRIOR: Level 3 Workouts’ include 2-part Level 3 workouts which demonstrate the ultimate in dynamic movement training to achieve the height of strength, balance and stamina, in addition to the dynamic warm-up, challenging cool-down and bonus Core and Core Advanced.
