Will Medicare or insurance reimburse for Teeter products?

While all Teeter decompression devices are registered as Class 1 medical devices with the FDA, you will need to work with your health care advisor and individual insurance provider to determine if the equipment will be covered by Medicare or under your individual insurance plan and how best to obtain reimbursement if so. We recommend researching this prior to purchase. We do not handle Medicare or insurance claims through our company.

Teeter is not a durable medical equipment (DME) provider nor do we intend to operate as one – to become a DME requires going through a detailed accreditation process, multiple government registration processes, and adherence to a complex code of federal regulations. Teeter is a retail equipment supplier and wholesaler to DMEs. Customers who want to bill through Medicare will need to find a DME who will order/supply our product and handle Medicare billing direct.
