EP-970 Ltd Inversion Table is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 837.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent machine for its purpose Suffering from right sided sciatica from spinal stenosis, I was hesitant on ordering this. However after reviewing multitude of reviews and literature plus my knowledge of medicine (retired surgeon) I decided to give it a try. The sciatica is improved symptom-wise even with just using it as needed; not totally gone -- but enough -- for me to play golf 4 x a week and do my routine job in and around the house. Do a lot of yard, garden, orchard type work. So I would say, this inversion table has keep me away from consulting a surgeon and risk the dreaded opinion that I need back surgery, be it minimal or full back operation with stabilization fixtures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my teeter. Nothing helps like it. I bought my teeter over 4yrs. ago. I use it regularly I had a l5 S1 fusion in 2006. Ever since when I do to much standing, sitting or anything my mid to upper back cramps up from taking the load offthe back below. I use lots of morphine and creams for the low back pain I still have but for the cramping, tight muscles of upper back Nothing helps like my TEETER. The stretch it gives you cannot be achieved any other way believe I have tried. (Physio, massage, yoga ball and regular stretches). It's so well built it will pobiliy last forever. I truly can't say enough good things about Teeters inversion boards. You really can't understand the feeling until you try it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and easy to use I've had my teeter for about 6 weeks. Initially my husband wanted to buy it for his back problems. It turns out, I use it way more than he does. I have found it easy to control (once I figured out my personal settings.) With a little practice I can make it stop about anywhere I want it to. At first I had my husband in the room with me so he could 'lift' me back up if I got stuck, (never happened, I was just nervous it might) but now I am very confident in my control of it. I love doing the teetering back and forth thing for a while to loosen things up and get the blood flowing. Then I hang upside down for a min or two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thank you teeter I had back issues for nearly a year. I would have to walk 100 yards just to be able to straighten up after the ride into work. Multiple trips to the chiropractor with short lived results. Decided to try the teeter before I went to a physician (my last resort as I was worried about an operation but thought I had little choice. I felt better after my first inversion and have no pain since. I was afraid for two weeks to do normal activities because I was waiting on the old pain to return. I have no pain. I am living normally and beginning to exercise and play golf again. This product was the perfect choice for me. Wonderful. Thank you Teeter.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Health Investment! My husband gifted this to me for Christmas. I had been suffering with lower back pain for years. I typically get a monthly massage and it helps but never lasts long enough. I asked my massage therapist if she could recommend an alternative method to going to a Chiropractor. She recommended an Inversion Table. There are plenty of knock off's out there but when it comes to my health and body, I trust the original creators. I hang 3x a day for 5 minutes each and have noticed a major improvement in my back. The pain has subsided tremendously and I sleep much better than before. I still go have my massage but it's for relaxation, not pain relief.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Teeter inversion table is an excellent product I bought my Teeter in the midst of a bout of severe sciatica. I had been through a number of chiropractic visits and had three epidural injections, none of which were effective. An MRI showed that I had a disk extrusion at the L4/L5 area of my spine. Before I could get the needed surgery, I hung in the Teeter at 40 degrees for 3 minutes at a time several times a day. I am convinced that it was responsible for the decrease in pain down my leg that I experienced over a period of 3 weeks. I'm not able to use it at the moment as I recover from surgery but I am hopeful that I'll get clearance at some point from my doctor to resume using it. The quality of construction is top notch. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I feel great! We bought the Teeter because I had been training for a 500 mile walk and thought it would help me feel better. I'm in my 50s and not skinny, so keeping my body working well has been very important. It has been incredible how much better I feel using the Teeter. Even my chiropractor told me that my spine never looked so good. I've packed the Teeter into my jeep and am taking it along on the walk telling my husband that I'll set it up right outside the jeep and get on it if I have to. So if you see someone hanging upside down on the side of the road along route 30, stop and say hi!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent machine! I've suffered with back and neck pain for years as well as Fibromyalgia. Had physical therapy, chiropractic care and massage and nothing seemed to help long term. Also, where do you go when you need help and the docs office is closed? Well, the answer for me, is my Teeter. Any time I've slept the wrong way or done anything to make my back hurt I get on the Teeter and "hang" for a while. It's really worth the money - and the space. My recommendation is to also keep it in a place where you can use it easily anytime. If you have to drag it out of a closet and set it up every time, you might end up enjoying it less. P.S. my husband bought this for me for me for Christmas and is letting me write the review!

is there any difference between the blemished EP-970 and the regular EP-970 as far as what they come with and features? As far as I can tell the only difference should be the blemished is maybe scuffed or scratched. Is that correct?

Asked by: MotorMatt
There isn't a difference between the two other than that on the blemished unit there might be cosmetic flaws. They also both come with a 5-year warranty too. -Teeter Team

My ceiling height is 86.5 inches. Is that high enough to permit full inversion?

Asked by: Steve68
Hi there, That should be enough clearance for the inversion table! If you were to fully extend out the height bar to 6'6" you would need 86" of clearance so if you are short than that then you won't need the full height. -Teeter Team

What's the difference between the "500" series and 970?

Asked by: Figgs78
You can’t go wrong with either of these inversion tables to relieve back pain, but the EP-970 Ltd. is the upgraded version with many additional features to both make inversion even easier and provide more benefits. I will go over the differences between the Teeter Inversion Tables, but you can also use the “Compare” feature on our website to see the differences between all of our inversion options: http://bit.ly/1BZqpAq. First, we'll start with what the EP-560 Ltd. has to offer. The EP-560 Ltd. features the Acupressure Nodes, which come in four sizes to insert anywhere along the ComforTrak bed to add healing pressure for the supporting muscles of the spine. The Lumbar Bridge is designed to enhance the decompression and alignment benefits of inversion; provides a point of support that helps focus traction on the lower back. The EP-970 Ltd. also has the features of the EP-560 Ltd. plus the Deluxe EZ-Reach Ankle system with an extended handle that reduces the need for bending. Stretch Max handles provide an extra-long grip surface to assist new users and enhanced stretching options for more experienced inverters, while the EZ-Stretch Traction Handles offer multiple uses, including added stretching and decompression options, easy oscillation assistance and a simple release option from full inversion. If you would like further assistance in choosing the right Teeter for you, please contact Custoer Service. I sent an e-mail about a week ago. Had no anwer. I have an scoliosis on my back, Now I am having lost balances issues. A doctor told me it looks like is from the neck in the back compressing some nerves. Could this table help me? Joaquin

Asked by: JRM58
Hello. Sorry for the late response. I spoke with Customer Service and they did not receive an email from you. You can contact Customer Service either by link via live chat here http://bit.ly/1EeNYY5 or at (800) 847-0143, Monday thru Friday 8am-4pm PST. They are also available at [email protected] As for the compressed nerves in your neck, Inversion can help. Teeter Inversion Tables primarily focus traction on the lower lumbar spine, but that doesn't mean it only benefits the lower back. Pain in the neck can radiate from a pinched nerve in the lower back or hips. Teeter helps alleviate the pain by reducing pressure on affected nerves. You can try a Teeter for 30 days to see if it works for you here - https://teetertv.com/ Also the weight from your head does provide some traction to the thoracic spine in your neck. To provide a bit more traction, place one hand beneath the chin and the other behind your head. Gently pull while inverted to focus on decompressing your neck. I recommend that you use one of our newest accessories to help relieve pain in your neck - The Better Back Neck Restore. It provides support of the upper neck/cervical spine for gentle traction or decompression of the neck. You can learn more about it here - http://teeter.com/Better-Back-Neck-Restore.html
