Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far . . . So Great! I bought the P2 Back Stretcher in late November/early December. I hoped to get the HangUps, but I just can't afford it right now. I need(ed) something to help decompress my lower back and this is really doing the trick. For all the added benefits of the HangUps, I do wish I could get just a little more or a little deeper of a stretch out of the P2, but it is definitely working. My back feels so much better. I am really pleased with the P2 and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to give your back a feeling of relief at the end of a long day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Travel or if You Can’t do Inversion I have been using the P2 for about a month and am completely happy with it. I wanted to get an inversion table but decided against it because I get headaches instantly when my head is upside down. While looking for an alternative to inversion I found the P2. I use it twice a day for a few minutes and get a good pop in my back most of the time. The only possible negatives I see are the knee support isn’t adjustable so may not work for shorter people. I am 5’11” and it fits me perfectly. My wife is 5’7” and she can still use it but any shorter could be a problem. The other thing is I suspect it would take a week or two to get a good pop if you don’t get regular chiropractic. I do and got a good pop and stretch the first use, but my wife doesn’t and just felt a little stretch on the first few uses. Overall a very good alternative to inversion.

I love this device. Most days I am on the Hangup in the morning, but I also use the P2. I can't get moving in the morning without stretching out my back. Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprised and happy I purchased this thing I purchased this item and received it a couple of weeks ago but until tonite I had not taken it out of the box. I have a Teeter inversion table which I love but I will be traveling to Las Vegas to play in a golf tournament and I cannot take the Teeter Inversion table with me, unfortunately. So because I have two discs that are narrowing, I have to have something while in Las Vegas to stretch my back. So tonite I got on the floor and placed my legs on the couch and used the P2. Well after doing it several times, I got up and found that my back actually felt better. I played golf today and my back was tight and sore. Not anymore. To be honest with you, I really didn't think this thing would work but after using it only once, I can tell you, it works. My wife also used it and she agreed that it does make her back feel better also. The P2 will be traveling to Las Vegas with me so I can play 4 straight days of golf. Need I say more?

As I am now 65 and have a bum ankle, the weight of full inversion is hard on that ankle. The P2 back stretcher is the perfect substitute. A great product at a good price. THANKS

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish it were larger This teeter works, but more difficult for someone 6'2". It is designed for a smaller person. I wish the handles were longer for better leverage, and that the arms for the back side of the knees were longer. That's why I give this a 3 star rating.

Do you have success with a person who is 5 feet tall using the P2 Back Stretcher? I'm also curious about a person of my size using the DEX II.

Is this safe to use with a herniated disc? Mine is L4 for reference.

I have bi-lateral hip and knee replacements.  Is the P2 safe for me to use?

Hi BobZ, every condition/stage of recovery is unique so it's best to check with your doctor. The P2 does decompress at the hips, which for a fully healed joint could be helpful, but it really does depend on the situation.

Start stretching for 1-2 minutes to help you get used to the new movement. You can increase time decompressing as you feel comfortable. We recommend that you decompress multiple times a day for best results. For example, in the morning to stretch tense muscles and and night to de-stress as you get ready for bed. Though inversion is the optimal way to decompress since it uses your own weight and gravity to provide traction on the spine, the manual traction generated by the P2 is comparable.

The Premium Extended Full Warranty extends to the purchaser an additional 5 years of full product warranty coverage beyond Teeter's standard full 5-year warranty. For specific terms of the full product warranty, see Teeter's Warranty certificate.
