Overview

Teeter is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist ready to manage the day-to-day growth and optimization of our email marketing program. Reporting directly to our Chief Marketing Officer, this role is a key part of our DTC marketing team with a great opportunity to develop strategy and impact the growth of multiple brands. The position is based out of our offices in Bonney Lake, WA.

About You:

You can have a passion for creative digital marketing strategies and data-driven decision making. You love rolling up your sleeves, managing and optimizing performance-based campaigns that move customers through the sales funnel. You’re confident in your ability to proactively problem-solve, manage time effectively and stay organized. You enjoy being challenged in a detail-oriented team environment that can occasionally shift focus very quickly. You are self-motivated and forward-thinking, always looking for opportunities to learn about your specialization and support the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds emails and flow campaigns according to specifications and works collaboratively with the Marketing team to ensure campaigns are produced and delivered on time according to defined expectations.
  • Manages the entire campaign development process, including set up, audience, list management, workflows, content development, design, coding, proofing, scheduling and performance oversight.
  • Performs regular QA checks on builds and workflows to ensure deliverability, uphold brand standards and verify the integrity of the campaign set up.
  • Maintains a good understanding of email marketing best practices and complies with email regulations.
  • Reports on campaign performance and tests variables in ongoing campaigns to increase KPI performance.
  • Assists in planning, strategizing and analyzing new campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience with email marketing and automation. You have built, optimized and deployed email campaigns for DTC lead generation and post-purchase cross-selling.
  • Strong understanding of email best practices, CAN-SPAM regulations, key metrics, and A/B testing.
  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Project management skills: able to drive the initiatives from end to end with minimal support and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Flexible, motivated, curious and willing to learn new skills and work well in a team environment.
  • Hardworking and dedicated.  

Preferred

  • 4-year college degree, marketing, communications, or another relevant field.
  • An eye for design; experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience specifically with the Klaviyo email marketing platform; product certification a plus.
  • Experience creating successful SMS marketing campaigns.

Pay Rate: Hourly, DOQ
