Contour L3 Ltd. is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best looking Teeter table! I shopped around, and this model is by far the most aesthetic, at least in my opinion. Nice curves, that also make getting onto and off the product easier. Plus, I love this bed, it has a 'floating suspension system' that gives it more comfort and flex then the other bed that simply screws into the metal bed frame. Overall, very happy with the table, and best of all seeing the benefits of inversion and feeling much better. Pain levels are way down, and when I remember to do it before bed I always get a better nights rest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed, smooth rotation I have been looking at inversion tables for a while now, I didn't want to get a junky one. I found it really hard to understand the differences online as they all sound similar and the pictures are tough to compare. I settled on Teeter because they had a great reputation, and the independent UL testing. Then - I looked through the features of the different models - and the L3 seemed to have a couple things the Teeter models didn't. It has a beautiful curved oversized steel tubing - very nice to have in the main room of my house. It also has a different pivot system that allows me to adjust the balance for different users without taking the table apart - i put all my friends on it, so easy adjustment is a good thing. Having this in my living room basically makes it the first talking piece every time i have company over. The bed surface is very Herman miller esq - combined with the aframe the overall look is pretty classy but modern, its also very comfortable to lay on, it moves with my body too. The ergo cups to secure my ankles are a great addition - they are extremely comfortable. The easy reach handle allow me to secure my ankles without bending to far - which is good as my back has been very sore recently and the table is the only thing that give me relief. As for inversion itself, i was shocked what a difference i felt the first time i used the Teeter. Clearly the best thing i have done to reduce the pain i have been experiencing for years. I am a carpenter and my back is always hurting - especially when i lay flooring. I come home, hop on the L3 - and I litterally feel great right away....luckily as when i am off the table its play time with my 5 year old boy; lots more running, jumping playing on the ground. I also invert right before bedtime to recover once more from him. Hope this helps - i am glad i trusted teeter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I'd hoped for and more! I tried my son in law's Teeter while we visited last Spring. Used it only 4 times during our 3 day visit and my back felt great. I don't have any serious back problems, but was impressed by the overall improvement in my posture. Once I got home, I ordered my own Contour L3 Ltd and love it. Hard to believe that such a simple thing can make a big impact on my well-being. Thanks Teeter.

What is difference between contour d- 3and the teeter hang ups 970?

Asked by: pamelam
You can’t go wrong with any of these inversion tables - the EP-970 Ltd and Contour L3 will provide the benefits of inversion on a secure and comfortable platform. The added features offered at the different price levels is more a matter of enhancing your inversion experience. The clearest way to see the differences between each model is to use the “Compare” feature on our website: While both models offer flexing plastic injection-molded beds, the 970’s ComforTrak design will hold the optional Lumbar Bridge accessory for added traction. Both beds can hold the Acupressure Nodes accessory. The Contour L3 features the EZ-Reach Ankle System, which has triple-lock security and an extended handle that reduces the need to bend when securing the ankles, in addition to the Traction Handles and Stretch Max Handles for additional decompression and stretching options. A step up from the EZ-Reach Ankle System, the EP-970 Ltd features the Deluxe EZ-Stretch Ankle System with an even longer handle and micro-adjusting ratchet.

In the above question/answer you state the L3Ltd doesn't have the Triple Lock system but the description shows it DOES have the triple lock system. Which is correct since I just ordered a L3 Ltd and wanted the triple lock system.

Asked by: Fuji
We apologize for the confusion. The EZ-Reach Ankle System featured on the Contour L3 is equipped with triple-lock security.

Is the only functional difference between the Contour l3 Ltd. and Contour l5 Ltd. the ankle locking systems? Also on the compare chart it shows the Contour l3 Ltd. model having the ComforTrak table bed, doesn't it actually have the Flex Technology table?

Asked by: Bandy55
To answer your first question, yes both models have similar features besides the ankle locking systems. The Deluxe-EZ Reach Ankle System featured on the Contour L5 has an extra-long handle to make it easier to secure the ankles. It also features Triple-Lock Security for smoother locking capability. The EZ-Reach Ankle System featured on the Contour L3 isn't quite as long as the Deluxe version and doesn't feature Triple Lock Security. Note that both systems are equally secure and safe for the user, it is just that Triple Lock Security allows for a smoother locking movement. Thank you for noting the mistake in the comparison chart. It has been fixed since the Contour L3 Ltd. does feature the FlexTech table, not the CormforTrak bed.
